Our organization is developing and elevating in accordance with the market demands and trends from time to time.

bitumen emulsion plant is a facility that creates a stable mixture (emulsion) of heated bitumen (asphalt), water, and an emulsifying agent, allowing it to be applied cold for road construction and maintenance, making it safer, more eco-friendly, and energy-efficient. Key components include bitumen/water tanks, emulsifier dosing, a colloid mill for high-shear mixing, heating systems, and controls, producing emulsions for chip seals, tack coats, patching, and seal coats. Key Components
  • Bitumen & Water Tanks: For storage and heating of materials.
  • Emulsifier Dosing: Precisely adds emulsifying agents (like soap) to stabilize the mix.
  • Colloid Mill/Reactor: The core of the plant; uses high-shear force to disperse bitumen into fine droplets within water.
  • Pumps & Piping: To transport materials throughout the system.
  • Control Panel: For monitoring and adjusting flow rates, temperature, and pH.
Production Process
  1. Heating: Bitumen is heated (around 150-180°C) to lower its viscosity.
  2. Mixing: Heated bitumen, water, and emulsifiers are fed into the colloid mill.
  3. Emulsification: The mill creates tiny, stable bitumen droplets in water.
  4. Cooling/Testing: The emulsion is cooled and tested for quality (viscosity, stability, particle size) before storage or use.
Advantages of Using Emulsions (and these plants)

  • Energy Savings: Applied at ambient temperatures, eliminating hot bitumen handling.
  • Environmentally Friendly: Lower emissions and water-based technology.
  • Cost-Effective: Reduces fuel use and material waste.
  • Versatile: Used for various road works like crack sealing, slurries, and tack coats.
