Our organization is developing and elevating in accordance with the market demands and trends from time to time. wet mix macadam plant is a piece of heavy construction equipment used to produce a consistent, homogenous mixture of crushed aggregates, water, and often cement or a binder to form the durable base or sub-base layer for road construction projects. These plants are available in both stationary and mobile configurations and various production capacities to suit different project scales. 

Key Features and ComponentsWet mix macadam plants are designed for continuous operation and precise control over the mixing process to meet specific quality and MORTH (Ministry of Road Transport & Highways) standards. 
  • Aggregate Feeding System: Features multiple bins (typically four) with individual gates and variable speed feeders to ensure controlled and accurate proportioning of different aggregate sizes.
  • Vibrating Screen: A single-deck screen that removes oversized materials before they enter the mixing unit, ensuring the final mix meets grading standards.
  • Pug Mill Mixer: The core mixing unit, generally a twin-shaft continuous pug mill, built with heavy-duty, wear-resistant materials like Ni-Hard liner plates and paddle tips to ensure thorough and uniform blending of aggregates and water.
  • Water Addition System: Includes a water tank and pump with a flow control mechanism (sometimes using moisture sensors or load cells) to maintain the optimal moisture content for proper compaction.
  • Control Panel/Cabin: A user-friendly control system, which can be semi-automatic or fully automatic with computerized controls, allows operators to monitor and adjust mix proportions and production parameters from a weather-protected cabin.
  • Storage Silo (Optional): An optional storage hopper/silo, often with hydraulically operated clamshell gates, holds the mixed material before discharge into trucks, preventing segregation and providing surge capacity.
  • Cement/Additive Addition (Optional): Plants can be equipped with a cement silo and a screw conveyor to add a small percentage of cement or other binders (like bitumen emulsion) when producing materials like Cement Treated Aggregate Base (CTAB).

 Automatic Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) Plant is a construction machine that precisely proportions, mixes, and delivers a uniform blend of aggregates, water, and binder (like bitumen) for road base/sub-base construction, featuring automated feeders, a pugmill mixer, water flow controllers, and conveyors for efficient, high-quality, dust-reduced road material production, meeting standards like M.O.S.T. for stability. 

Key Components
  • Aggregate Feeders: Multiple bins for different aggregate sizes, precisely controlled.
  • ** Pugmill Mixer:** Twin-shaft mixer with heavy-duty paddles for thorough blending.
  • Water Tank & Flow Controller: For adding exact moisture content.
  • Conveyor Belts: Transport materials within the plant and to the output.

How it Works (Automated Process)
  1. Feeding: Aggregates are loaded into respective bins, and the control system automatically doses them.
  2. Mixing: Aggregates are conveyed to the pugmill, where water and binder are added for a homogeneous mix.
  3. Discharge: The uniformly mixed WMM is discharged onto a conveyor for loading into trucks.
