 Automatic Asphalt Drum Mix Plant efficiently produces hot mix asphalt (HMA) by continuously drying aggregates and mixing them with bitumen in a rotating drum, using automated controls for precise material proportioning, leading to high-quality, consistent road surfacing material for construction projects, with models varying in capacity and mobility. How it Works (Simplified)

1. Aggregate Feeding: Cold aggregates (crushed stone, sand) are fed into the system.
2. Drying & Heating: They enter a rotating dryer drum where a burner heats them while tumbling, removing moisture and bringing them to the required temperature.
3. Mixing: Mineral filler (powder) and bitumen (liquid asphalt) are added to the hot aggregates within the drum.
4. Automated Control: Sensors and PLC systems automatically control the flow of materials, ensuring correct proportions for a consistent mix.
5. Discharge: The finished hot mix asphalt is discharged for transportation to the paving site.
